How to Create Prospect Leads Online 

If you are new to the social marketing industry, or have stalled out in your lead creating efforts, getting new prospect leads is essential to keep your business blossoming. 

You cannot presumably expect to pitch to everybody, if you do, you will find you do not have many friends and folk just plain avoid you! 

Online Prospect Leads 

There are processes you should follow online or offline. 

Understand firstly that the power to close a sale is related directly to the standard of your lead. It is purposeless squandering precious time pitching your product to people who are not particularly interested in it from the outset. Referrals from happy customers are very effective because your product is recommended by them and when you call a referral, more than likely your new prospect has been told about your new release and is therefore "pre-warmed". 

Remember whatever you do with this lead will reflect back on the referrer, so always chase up promptly and always remember to contact the referrer and thank them. As successful outcome can always lead straight to more leads, and that's precisely what you need! Incentives for the referrer are always appreciated, it could be in the form of a gift voucher or money off coupon - whatever is appropriate. If the referrer makes a practice of referring new leads to you - you may want to think about making them one of your downline, because in effect they already are. 

Networking for Prospect Leads 

Always use contacts from clubs and organizations to which you belong and if you don't belong to any business organizations, join some! They're great places for finding prospect leads. You can join networking groups and share leads with others in related firms. As an example if you sell PC hardware, hook up with others who sells computer software, but always make sure it's not an one-sided affair with you getting all of the best leads, you should generally attempt to provide inducements for those that give you leads.

Trade shows are good places to find prospect leads, but take care that trade shows can cost a great deal of time and cash and you may probably require assistance. Trade shows are attended by your audience, so win them over with your character! Attraction promoting rules in these situations so don't stand around looking bored or spend all of the time on your laptop PC! 

Once you have identified potential prospects, you have to gather as much intelligence on them as you can . Find out about their business, and what they do. Knowledge confers power!
